As Anambrarians are going into a governorship elections on 18th of November 2017, to elect a new Governor, we should set an example by voting a young and energetic youth endowed with experience to lead and rescue the state from the shackles of backwardness characterized by visionless opportunist in power.
Anambrarians will have to eschew sentiment this time by voting a candidate that will change the ugly face of governance in Anambra State irrespective of party affiliation.
The kind of Governor required to bring good governance in Anambra State is a youth with a burning desire to deliver dividends of democracy to the people. Somebody with spirit of patriotism and one who can deliver on his campaign promises.
For barely two (2) years Dr. Tony Nwoye has been in the National Assembly with only 2016 constituency projects fund, his giants strides has been a testimony for the people of his constituency. Dr. Tony Nwoye could be best described as a man who derives pleasure working for development of the society he's part of and alleviating the sufferings of the poor masses and downtrodden.
Dr Tony Nwoye as Governor will give Anambrarians a New-face-lift that her citizens will be proud of. And set unprecedented pace of change that would always make any incoming governor to work harder in order to outshine his expected performances. This is because he will leave no stone unturned in keeping to his manifesto.
His manifesto is implementable and achievable within 4 years and will catapult Anambra State to compete with a developed State like Lagos, with a viable economy. It's not an impossible manifesto as we have witnessed from different leaders in the past.
Dr. Nwoye is a man with listening ears and a man who has his ears on ground to hear directly from the people and immediately proffer solution. In him, we have a humble governor.
He's a wealth creator, who will drastically reduce unemployment rate that Anambrarians are currently experiencing.
His government will be a government of the people, by the people and for the people with a true democratic tenets. The time has come for Ndi Anambra to choose a competent leader over mediocre irrespective of political party.
It is time to vote a tested and trusted candidate who will run a transparent government and carry all the zones along in his government through developmental projects. A man who will not only be a Governor to his VILLAGE, but a Governor who will serve Ndi Anambra and see everybody as one.
Dr Tony Nwoye's achievements within his tenure as Governor will be visible for people to see and feel it. It will never be what one can only see on the pages of Sun Newspaper and billboards as the present APGA government does.
There will be massive holiday jobs for students with good earnings, which will diminish the temptations attached to idleness during holidays.
Free education for public schools and free enrollment for Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) of over 15,000 (Fifteen Thousand) Anambrarians who are passing out of government Secondary School annually.
Dr Tony Nwoye is not just aspiring to be a Governor. He wants to leave a legacy for history to be kind with him and ensure that whoever wants to govern Anambra will have no option than to work in order to compete and surpass his feat, this is an obvious truth.
Ndi Anambra, is it not time we eschew party sentiment and vote a competent Candidate? Platform does not matter to us, because the person who is contesting under the platform is our own brother who was born and raised amongst us in Anambra here. He lives with us and believes in the progress of Ndi Anambra and Ndi Igbo in general.
He has been a vocal voice in the National Assembly fighting for Anambra and Igbo course without fear, but only to see development thrive in Igboland.
