"Congratulations, sister Nadine, I heard you'd be getting married soon, I hope our groom is a handsome dude, heh?" Sister Amara asked smiling broadly. Nadine's cheeks flushed pink and she tries shying away from the question, though they were both in the same music group, sister Amara was five years older than her and already married with kids.
"Aunty," she looked up smilingly, "by God's grace, he is."
"May God's blessings remain with you." She said and hurried off ad soon as she noticed her husband signalling her to come and enter the car so they'd leave.
"Congratulations." Someone said from behind, she turned to see who it was.
"Good evening." She greeted.
"You never told me."
"I..."
"Not to worry I understand. So very soon now, you'll be answering Mrs Nadine somebody." Both of them giggled. "I know you are getting married, I'm certainly late but I hope it won't severe our friendship?"
"Why should I do that? We're still friends."
"Yes, I know my boundaries," he smiled. "Lemme give you a ride if you don't mind."
"Of course, I don't mind." Favour opened the other side of the car for her and she entered. "There's this program going on in my dad's church, it started yesterday and it's ending tomorrow being Thursday, I'm inviting you."
"What's the time for the program?" Nadine asked
"5.00PM"
"I'll try and be there."
Favour smiled.

"You cannot die! No!" She screamed and woke up, she was panting and sweating profusely; a nightmare. Nadine wiped off the sweat that had formed lines on her temple. She checked the time; it was about four in the morning. Feeling restless and sleepless, she got on her knees and said some words of prayer, she read some verses of the bible and got her phone to make a call. She phoned Collins but his line wasn't connecting, could he be out on the street with his headphone, jogging? She'd wanted to go for early morning jog but she had no strength, the dream had also dissuaded her. She glared at her sister on the other side of the bed, sleeping like a log of wood.
"You eh, you can sleep for Africa, upon all these noise I made, you did not hear, _tufiakwa_!" She tapped her sister but she didn't budge until she shook her violently.
"Mmh," she turned towards Nadine and tried cuddling her like a pillow but Nadine jolted from her grip, "see, _bia_! C'mon, get up there! What kind of sleep is this one _sef_? _Edi ura_, c'mon, _zuzuru binyie ebe ahu_!"
"Is it morning?"
"No oh! It's night, see the moon shining bright. C'mon get up there!"
Nadine stood up and left the room as soon as she noticed Dimma sleepily get on her knees. Dimma fell on her knees with her chest, stomach and hands resting on the bed, she dozed off again.

"What? Abducted? How?" The line disconnected. Nadine slumped back into her seat, the reality of her previous dream played hard on her face.
