Free SSCE Examination For All Students in Public Schools - Tony Nwoye

When Ayaka Nsugbe- Dr Tony Nwoye mounted the rostrum on Friday at Onitsha to speak, many thought he would begin to attack the person of Obiano but he didn't.

Tony is a fine gentleman, he perfectly understood that the issue has nothing to do with the personality Obiano but the quality of governance. He knew it was about the alternative he will provide and nothing else.

And he spoke quietly and briefly on key issues that matters; Education, Health, local government and Industry.

He promised  free SSCE examination for all students in public schools, promised to reduce tuition paid in state run institution if feasible. On health he did promise to ensure free antenatal and post antenatal for pregnant women and children- he already have a bill at the committee stage on this at the house of representatives. He did speak on PHCs and will make it the pivotal of his health policy. Building a mini grid to power Nnewi, Awka and Onitsha to increase the industrial capacity was also spoken on- increased industrial capacity leads to job creation which he also promised to provide for the ever expanding youth population in the state.

Within one year, Ayaka Nsugbe promised to conduct a local government election, like he said on Friday, the local government is the closest tier of government to the people and no development can take place without allowing them to function like Obiano has done so far.

In truth, Tony Nwoye understands the issue at stake more than any other candidate- his large network of friends across the state has ensured that he knows the immediate problems of each ward.

Calumy wouldn't win this election. Let the doomsday prophets continue while the son of light continue to make impact.
