o the National Assembly has fuelled speculation that the president is ill while there have been rumoursthat he has died although this has been refuted several times by his media aides.
Lai Mohammed who is the minister of information spoke after the federal executive council meeting on Tuesday, February 8 insisting the president was “hale and hearty” which was fine the ministers were doing theirworks.
He said:“Do you think we will be consulting our business like this if Mr. President is ill?”
“He (pointing to Minister of Power, BabatundeFashola) was in Anambra last week, I was in Kwara yesterday, all our ministers are busy doing their work.
Mr. President is well and is absolutely not in danger.“I can say without any hesitation that Mr. President is well, is hale and hearty. No question about that.”
