🐩The 'Guardian of Dogs':Chinese man cares for over 700 stray dogs in 8 years

Zhou Yusong, affectionately called “Guardian of Dogs” by local citizens, recently caught people’s attention on the
Internet. In eight years, Mr. Zhou has taken care of hundreds of stray dogs while working at an animal protection center in central China’s Henan Province.

It began in 2008 when he first rescued a stray dog, taking it to the rescue station. He was deeply shocked after seeing so many homeless dogs, and decided to donate 200 yuan (30 US dollars) to the rescue center every month as a routine.

As the number of stray dogs grew, Mr. Zhou quit his job and worked full-time at an animal protection center.

This animal protection center has offered a home to nearly 700 stray dogs.
